Ben is an outdoor enthusiast that loves hiking and shooting photography throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. His love of snowboarding naturally caused him to gravitate towards all wheel drive vehicles like Subarus. He has been driving Subarus since 2007 and has been lifting them and using them off-road for over a decade. Ben spent a year working for Subaru to learn more about the brand and the cars and has years of experience using and installing lift kits. Ben has helped build nearly 20 different Subarus for himself and friends. As he began hiking in more remote areas, he decided to lift one of his Subarus to give him more off-road capability. Unfortunately, he had very little luck with finding good information about how to do it right. This gave him the idea to start Lifted Imports as a way to help other enthusiasts get their builds off the ground without spending hours combing through forum posts. When he's not tearing up his car in the forest, Ben enjoys lifting weights, volunteering his time at local non-profits, and turning wrenches in the garage.
